LABORATORY QUALITY CONTROL

TasLabs carries out comprehensive quality control on all tests undertaken. This QC involves checking all test procedures by using laboratory prepared standard solutions and commercially available Certified Standards.

Quality control data is maintained and monitored to ensure we can quickly respond to any changes or trends in our results.

In addition to this the Laboratory also participates in inter-laboratory Quality Proficiency Programs run by National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) or by other NATA endorsed service providers. These programs allow the laboratory to compare itself with other laboratories and helps ensure standardization of result data.

All quality assurance data held by the laboratory can be scrutinized by interested customers.

Tasmanian Laboratory Services has been thoroughly evaluated and accredited by NATA as meeting the technical competence requirements of the internationally recognized standard ISO/IEC 17025.

The specific tests that Tasmanian Laboratory Services has achieved accreditation for are detailed in our Scope Of Accreditation.

NATA endorsed reports are widely recognized by many sectors of the Australian government and industry. NATA also has mutual recognition agreements with the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) and the Asia Pacific Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (APLAC). This means that NATA endorsed reports test reports are accepted by many of Australia's trading partners in Europe, North America, South Africa and throughout the Asia Pacific region.

A NATA endorsed report provided by TasLabs will give you increased confidence in the data, along with greater acceptance of your test results both within Australia and internationally.
